Connect easybill with Zapier

easybill offers a direct Zapier integration that you activate via your easybill dashboard. Zapier is especially suitable if you want to respond to events in easybill and trigger other apps.

Zapier

Triggers:

  • New customer created
  • New document created
  • New invoice line item created
  • New project created
  • New task created
  • New time entry recorded
  • Document overdue

Actions:

  • Create customer
  • Create task

Setup: The connection is made directly via your easybill dashboard. You can find the full instructions in our Help Center.

Note: The Zapier integration is invitation-based. easybill therefore does not appear in the public Zapier app directory—access is provided via the invitation link from your easybill account.

Make.com

Powerful automation with Make.com

Make.com (formerly Integromat) offers the most comprehensive easybill integration with triggers and actions. Ideal for complex workflows where you want to respond to events as well as create or change data in easybill.

Trigger:

  • Changes to contacts
  • Changes to customers
  • Changes to documents
  • Changes to payments
  • Changes to invoice items

Requirement: easybill account and API key (can be generated in the profile settings).

Actions:

  • Create, edit, delete customers and customer groups
  • Create, update, cancel, finalize, send documents
  • Record and manage payments
  • Create and edit projects and tasks
  • Add and change invoice items
  • Custom API calls
n8n Open Source

n8n: Open-source alternative with full data control

n8n-nodes-easybill (paulkolle): extensive actions including SEPA payments and discounts, but no native triggers. You start workflows via other nodes (e.g. webhook, schedule).

@rjsebening/n8n-nodes-easybill-api: provides its own easybill webhook trigger (e.g. document.update) as well as documents, customers/contacts, attachment upload, and a flexible API call. Requires n8n 1.113+; SEPA and discount modules are not documented here.

Trigger:

The paulkolle node does not provide native triggers—here you start workflows via other n8n triggers (webhook, schedule, etc.). The rjsebening node, on the other hand, provides a native easybill webhook trigger that automatically registers the webhook in easybill.

Actions:

  • Create, edit, delete, retrieve customers and customer groups
  • Create, update, cancel, convert, send documents, download as PDF
  • Create and manage document payments
  • Create and manage SEPA payments
  • Manage item and group discounts

Installation: The node is installed as a community node. You can find the installation guide in the official n8n documentation. The package name is n8n-nodes-easybill.

Good to know: n8n is aimed at technically experienced users. Basic knowledge of server administration and APIs is helpful for setup and troubleshooting. For questions, please refer to the n8n community or the n8n documentation. Unfortunately, we’re unable to answer support requests about n8n.

Individual functions may therefore change or be incomplete. The source code can be viewed on GitHub, so you can check the current status at any time.
