Some months are busier than others. With the Flex-option, you can continue creating invoices, quotes, and delivery notes even when your monthly allowance has been used up. Each additional document costs €0.29 and is protected by a cost cap.

Anyone who occasionally exceeds their allowance does not have to permanently switch to a more expensive package. In quieter months, you continue paying less.

Each document created beyond your allowance costs €0.29. You pay only for the additional documents you actually use instead of immediately moving up to a whole new package tier.

The surcharge is capped. Your invoice cannot increase without limit, so there is always a reliable upper limit.

Archiving costs
easybill stores your documents for you indefinitely and in compliance with GoBD regulations, as long as you have an active plan or, as a free user, cover the resulting archiving costs. Archiving fees for the total number of documents stored in your account are billed monthly.

Yes, your easybill package can be cancelled at any time directly via the account. Click on the user menu and “Manage account”. There will then be no further renewal at the end of the package term.
No, cancelling the account only terminates the paid package. The account remains in the free Free package. You will continue to have access to data and documents as long as the Free account is actively used.
To be able to test all features, our 7-day free trial phase always includes the Premium package.
The cost-free Free package does not need to be booked. It activates automatically at the end of your trial phase.
Yes, your easybill package is automatically renewed for the chosen period unless you change your package or cancel. This ensures that your invoicing continues without interruption.
At easybill, your data is in the best hands. Your data is stored exclusively on servers in Germany and protected by modern encryption standards. As an additional security measure, two-factor authentication (2FA) is available to you.
No, by booking the annual package and the associated discount, you only pay once in advance for the entire year.
All listed features are included in the packages. For the unlimited, GoBD-compliant storage of your documents, additional archiving costs apply. These are listed in the archiving costs table.
Additional costs may apply through the use of our add-ons such as the Flex option, staff accounts, or SEPA transaction fees. Please refer directly to the price overview for prices. Shipping credit can be booked separately and actively. You have full cost control at all times.
All paid packages are available on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis. You decide on the package term.
Here is an example using the Premium package: 500 documents are included, and the base price is €45 per month. Each document above 500 costs €0.29 with the Flex-option. The cost cap limits the maximum surcharge. You can find full details about the cost cap in the list of prices and services.

Scenario A shows the everyday benefit: a one-off peak month costs an extra €43.50. A permanent upgrade to the next package would cost an additional €24 per month, or €288 per year, including during all quieter months. Scenario B shows the protection: even in an extreme month, the cost cap limits the surcharge to €258 instead of €435. The customer saves €177 and knows that the invoice cannot increase without limit.
Every outgoing and incoming document in your account counts as a document: quotes, orders, invoices and e-invoices, delivery notes, as well as recorded receipts. The determining factor is your billing period.
Every document you create or record is counted toward your monthly allowance. In e-commerce, every invoice generated at the order import stage from an order data record also counts.
Once your allowance has been used up, the Flex Option applies, and each additional document costs €0.29.
The billing period is individual and depends on the date of your contract conclusion.
Example: If you signed up for your package on 13.04., the period from 13.04. to 12.05. will be taken into account when counting your documents.
Within this billing period, your document quota will be counted.
